Job Description

Automatic Products Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced AS 9100 QA Supervisor to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company’s quality control systems adhere to the AS 9100 standards, managing a team of quality inspectors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with AS 9100 quality management systems.
• Review and approve inspection and test plans, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Conduct audits and inspections on products, materials, and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis for any non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide training and mentoring to the quality control team to ensure effective performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain and update quality control records, reports, and documentation.
• Manage customer and supplier quality communications, resolving any concerns or issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Supervision in Quality Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in quality control or assurance in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and experience with AS 9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to lead and develop a team.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
