Job Description
We are looking for a full time Mechanic, or at least someone with good mechanical skills to join our team in CARBONDALE KS. No more dealing with upset customers or faulty installs. Very little diagnostics. All we do is dismantle vehicles and sell the parts. We can provide the basic tools needed to get started if needed. Starting pay up to $17-20/ hour for first 90 day evaluation period depending on qualifications. 99 DAY $700 SIGNING BONUS + UP TO 2 WEEKS VACATION PAY!!! Performance bonuses each paychec k, with Benefits including Health Insurance & 401K plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dismantle the Engine and Transmission from a vehicle without damaging other parts on the vehicle.
- Help pull overflow of parts outside
- Locate parts in the computer.
- Put good parts into the warehouse.
- Set vehicle out in the yard onto wheel stands using a fork lift..
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good mechanical skills
- Previous mechanical experience or training of some kind.
- Good at deadlines and able to work at a fast pace.
- Able to operate forklifts
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace without damaging other parts
- Very little diagnostic skills needed. Just taking cars apart.
- Willingness to work inside and outside.
