Job Description

The Business Administrator plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting day-to-day operational processes. This individual will respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure all administrative tasks are completed with accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a strong commitment to service excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to assisting customers and coworkers
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails, addressing customer questions, account updates, and general inquiries
  • Deliver a high-quality experience to every customer, every time
  • Manage account activations, modifications, and cancellations, ensuring accurate contracts and timely updates
  • Process customer portal requests and coordinate communication between customers, sales, and operations
  • Support pricing and contract adjustments by maintaining accurate documentation and applying rate changes appropriately
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation to ensure billing accuracy based on receipts and contractual terms
  • Prepare and maintain credit hold reports for various customer types, ensuring clear communication with sales and management teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience
  • Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions aligned with company procedures
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently

  • Maintain regular, in-office attendance from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Ability to sit at a desk and speak on the phone for extended periods
