Position Summary The Compliance Officer team plays a critical role in ensuring that all inspections, estimates, and documentation align with company policies, standards, and compliance requirements. Each officer in this team is responsible for managing specific stages of the review process, including initial and final assessments, as well as billing and documentation uploads. This team is integral to maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities Review and respond to incoming emails in a timely and professional manner. Review the job board and daily schedules to identify jobs that are inspected and ready for review or completion. Complete initial reviews and provide recommendations within 24 hours after an inspection. Save all initial photos into the appropriate customer folder on the shared drive. Open and create MICA files as needed. Input key dates (e.g., date received, date inspected, date started) into the system. Accurately sketch the loss in MICA based on the estimate and scope note. Enter detailed damage information as outlined in the estimate and scope note. Create dry chambers and enter all initial moisture points, referencing the estimate for materials removed. Upload and label all initial photos in MICA, ensuring they are properly categorized within the corresponding rooms. Review the recommendations for equipment and compare them against the estimate. Review the estimate against Service Level Agreements (SLA) where applicable. Provide all feedback, findings, and updates to the Project Manager via email in a clear and concise manner. Save all completed documents into the appropriate customer folder on the shared drive for easy access. Review and complete compliance tasks through the compliance manager. If unable to complete, reach out to the Project Manager for assistance. Attend all relevant meetings and webinars as required. Assist the Final MICA Compliance Officer with their duties if there is extra time after completing initial reviews. Skills/Qualifications Required Two or more years of proven experience in customer service. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Technologically competent. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients. Preferred Previous experience working in the Restoration industry is a plus. Work Environment This role is in a office work environment. This position will primarily be indoors, working near or around other individuals in an office setting. Physical Demands Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
