Every store we manage is among the highest-rated in the communities they serve. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing our accounting and financial operations, ensuring the financial stability of our multi-location business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and projections to support business growth and expansion.
• Expense & Cost Control: Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost savings to improve profitability.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow across multiple locations, ensuring financial stability.
• Supervision: Oversee and manage remote data entry personnel, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Acquisition Support: Conduct financial due diligence for potential new shop acquisitions.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Month-End & Year-End Closing: Manage closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or an MBA is a plus).
• Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) – preferred but not required.
  • CMA (Certified Management Accountant) – beneficial for financial planning and budgeting.
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) – helpful for acquisitions and long-term financial planning.
• Experience:
  • 5–10+ years in financial roles, ideally within multi-location businesses.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Automotive, service industry, or retail experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and other data related software.
  • Familiarity with Accounting and Bookkeeping software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Compensation & Work Environment:

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
• Work Location: In-person.
