Job Description Brink's is accelerating capability in Supply Chain and Logistics Optimization and is seeking a Global Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization Lead to develop and optimize our supply chain flow, inventories, global logistics network and service operations. This role will be responsible for supply planning and supply chain design for equipment, network design to create logistics density and logistical analysis to optimize route execution and asset utilization . The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, modeling, and optimization tools to drive continuous improvements in equipment availability, inventory , network performance, service levels, and overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities : Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization: - Design a supply planning process for equipment purchases to support growing customer demand in our strategic DRS and AMS platforms
- Design supply chain strategies to optimize the balance between equipment availability, lead time optimization and inventory deployment
- Lead monthly process for review of supply plan and communication to key vendors
- Lead execution of action plans to optimize inventory
Network Design & Optimization: - Design and optimize the distribution network, routing strategies, and fleet utilization to improve service efficiency and asset utilization .
- Analyze logistics flows, transportation costs, and service levels to drive network improvements.
- Develop data-driven network models to optimize routing, resource allocation, and hub placement.
- Implement scenario modeling and simulations to support business decisions on network design and capacity planning.
Logistics & Operations Strategy: - Develop capabilities to scale standardized logistics and operational capabilities across the global enterprise. Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies and streamline cash-in-transit (CIT), distribution, and delivery processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop logistics strategies that align with Brink's business goals and customer needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies , automation, and digital solutions for network optimization.
- Implement best practices in dynamic routing, vehicle scheduling, and fleet management.
Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement: - Use advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to drive logistics and network optimization.
- Develop and maintain KPIs and performance dashboards to track inventory , asset efficiency, cost savings, and service levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve inefficiencies in the logistics network.
- Work closely with the Business Optimization team to implement process improvements and enhance decision-making.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Execution: - Lead global effort to optimize inventory deployment and develop robust supply chain strategies to balance equipment availability and working capital deployment .
- Lead global sales and operations planning focused on optimizing equipment deployment.
- Collaborate with DRO/BBO teams, operations, IT, finance, and procurement to execute network optimization initiatives.
- Partner with global and regional logistics teams to ensure alignment of network strategies with business objectives .
- Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new logistics and network strategies.
- Support RFPs, vendor selection, and negotiations for third-party logistics and transportation providers.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain , Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related preferred. Can consider experience in lieu of education.
- 8+ years of experience in inventory optimization, sales and operations planning, supply chain design , logistics network design, route optimization, and transportation planning.
- Strong knowledge of planning models, routing algorithms, dynamic scheduling, and transportation modeling tools.
- Experience with network modeling, simulation software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python, SQL, GIS mapping).
- Expertise in optimization techniques, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-location logistics environment, preferably in cash logistics , banking, or high-security transportation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business impact.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
