Job Purpose :

The Helper Assist role is a non-driving position. This ride along position assists Delivery Associate Drivers with efficient package delivery and maintaining Customer Obsession in a fast-paced work environment. No driver's license is required.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Responsible for loading and unloading packages
• Communicating with customers.
• Ensures all packages are delivered to the correct address.
• Adhering to safety regulations and company policy.
• Helping the driver to navigate to delivery locations.
• Paying attention to detail.
• Ensures all packages are properly secured and organized.
• Uses a handheld device (Rabbit) to navigate the delivery of packages.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
• Participates in daily conference calls
• Stamina and reliability.
• Communicates regularly with the Dispatch Team to resolve any delivery issues.

Work Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to get in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times throughout the shift.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs
• General knowledge of technology.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Perform all required tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 18 years old or older.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
