Drywall Technician

Location: Los Fresnos, TX

Reports To: Program Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Drywall Technician is responsible for the precise installation of drywall in modular housing units. This role involves measuring, cutting, securing panels, and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels for walls and ceilings in modular units.
• Ensure proper fit around electrical outlets, HVAC openings, and fixtures.
• Secure drywall using screws, adhesives, and anchors, ensuring proper alignment.
• Work efficiently within a modular production environment to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle tools/materials properly.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper PPE use and material handling.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in warehouse, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality required.
