Job Description

Allied Resources is hiring a Electrical Estimator who can provide estimating services for various types of projects to produce detailed estimates at various phases of design and construction. This is a direct hire position a salary up to $90k, 401(k) with an employer match, comprehensive benefits, and career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive estimating services for various electrical projects and contract formats.
• Develop detailed cost estimates at different phases of design and construction.
• Perform material and equipment takeoffs to determine project requirements.
• Obtain vendor pricing and apply labor factors based on established estimating manuals.
• Consolidate labor and material estimates into a summary proposal.
• Develop project milestone schedules to support bid submissions.
• Analyze and interpret client-supplied bid documents and specifications.
• Assist in contract negotiations, change orders, and other project-related agreements.

Qualifications:

• College degree or Technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial electrical estimating experience.
• Working knowledge of estimating databases and software (MCAA, Accubid, etc.)
• Ability to perform conceptualized estimates (schematic design, design development, and construction).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
