Job Title: Electrical Project Manager / Estimator – Industrial Construction

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to support the construction of a large-scale semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role will operate on behalf of the General Contractor (GC) and focus primarily on the review, analysis, and validation of electrical scopes, estimates, execution strategies, and performance from subcontracted electrical contractors. You will NOT be creating electrical estimates—rather, it requires critical evaluation of estimates and subcontractor deliverables, ensuring that electrical estimates and project execution plans align with scope, budget, and schedule expectations on a highly technical and fast-paced industrial project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, evaluate, and validate electrical subcontractor cost estimates, scopes of work, and proposals for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
• Analyze submitted budgets, quantities, labor factors, unit pricing, and assumptions related to electrical construction.
• Monitor and assess progress on electrical scopes of work, including field installation schedules, manpower loading, and productivity.
• Collaborate with the GC’s preconstruction, project controls, and field teams to integrate electrical estimates and updates into the master schedule and cost reports.
• Participate in constructability reviews, RFIs, submittals, and technical coordination related to electrical systems.
• Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, or potential change orders in subcontractor estimates and execution plans.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization discussions for electrical systems.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to project standards, client expectations, industry codes, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with client representatives, design teams, and subcontractors during both preconstruction and construction phases.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation related to electrical construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field desired (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in electrical project management, estimating, or field engineering on industrial construction projects (semiconductor, manufacturing, data center, etc.).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in large industrial facilities: power distribution, switchgear, lighting, grounding, generators, etc.
• Experience working with or managing electrical subcontractors; prior GC-side or owner’s rep experience preferred.
• Deep familiarity with reviewing and critiquing electrical estimates, labor productivity, and scope packages.
• Proficient with construction management software and tools desired (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, Excel).
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on-site and attend field walks as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor facility construction is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cleanroom electrical requirements, equipment hook-ups, and tool installation processes is a plus.
