Job Description

With several locations throughout the Southeast and over 100 years in business, we are an established player in the Industrial Supply business across several diversified product lines. At this time, we are seeking an Account Manager to represent our company in the Central Alabama territory. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a quota carrying industrial field sales role (ideally experience with seals and packing associated with pumps and rotating equipment). DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a high satisfaction among customers on your account list including developing a territory plan and 90 day forward looking forecast
  • Provide sales, service, and technical support associated with rotating equipment at industrial and utility customer sites
  • Focus on diagnosing technical issues, developing and implementing solutions in response to customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between our customers and suppliers
  • Prepare and enter orders. Deliver product to customers as needed.
  • Prospect for business through in person, phone, and email prospecting in addition to through existing relationships
  • Work from home office and in the field
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years experience selling industrial equipment as a distributor rep
  • Expertise selling reliability products including fluiding sealing (seals and packing associated with pumps) and rotating equipment (turbines, pumps, generators, compressors, and engines) to the industrial and utility sectors as a distributor rep
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding $700K in annual sales
  • Experience selling directly to end user factories, distribution centers, industrial facilities
  • BS or BA preferred but not required
