Podiatric medical office seeking organized part time front desk medical receptionist to support the clinical staff with administrative tasks and serve as the first point of contact for patients. The ideal candidate will need to ensure a welcoming and efficient patient experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsibilities include:

· Greet patients upon arrival in a friendly manner and check patients in/ out

· Schedule Reschedule patient appointments using the office’s scheduling system

· Confirm patient appointments

· Collect patient copayments and outstanding balances

· Obtain patient information and input into Practice Management software.

· Manage phone systems to answer calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries

· Verify insurance eligibility, obtain referrals as needed

· Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, including those related to patient privacy and HIPAA regulations.

· Ensure accurate and secure handling of patient information and documentation.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Candidate should possess superior patient communication skills

· Should be polite, professional, motivated, and punctual

· Should be well organized

· Should be able to work well both independently and with other members of the team

· Should be comfortable with technology

· High School diploma or equivalent
