We are recruiting for an established non-profit firm in need of an Administrative Assistant with a valid Notary certification. Strong MS Office/technical skills as well as the ability to transcribe is needed. Previous legal experience would be helpful

NOTE: This role will also require the person to start this role in Manhattan and transition with the company to their new offices in Yonkers, NY by the end of the spring.

Responsibilities would include:

• Processing cases, assisting with scheduling/correspondence, preparing/tracking letter & decrees

• Perform as a Notary and transcribe

• Ensure accuracy, completeness and professionalism of all materials produced

• Answer phones and interact with clients, staff and senior individuals

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel skills

• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to transcribe recorded information

• Flexibility and willingness to assist others in the office

• Ability to maintain confidentiality
