  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, faith-based organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to effectively reach low-income, predominantly Spanish-speaking workers.
  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure the effectiveness of training sessions.
  • Collect and document feedback from trainees to improve training content and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records for OSHA monitoring purposes and comply with all reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Political Science, or a related experience.
  • Proven experience in community organizing, particularly with vulnerable and hardly reached populations.
  • Experience in canvassing and using social media for outreach and engagement.
  • Experience working with adult learners and conducting training sessions.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and worker health and safety rights is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and research skills for conducting needs assessments and developing training materials.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Open-minded and inclusive.
  • Self-motivated and strong work-planning, including good personal time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial justice.
  • Ability to work collectively, handle and resolve conflict, and facilitate groups.
