We are seeking a Pathology Assistant to join the LabCorp team in Knoxville, Tennessee, where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical laboratory services. Our services are performed with the utmost care, expertise, integrity and respect for the patient. This is a casual/PRN position for evening shift.

• Job Responsibilities*
• Grossing specimens from a level 1 trauma center with nine centers of excellence including a very active cancer center. We are a hybrid facility with outside specimens as well as specimens from clinics, surgery centers, and physician offices.
• Gross frozen section specimens with pathologist instructions.
• No in house autopsies.
• Possible exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens; regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases; must comply with applicable safety procedures.
• Requirements:*
• B.A./B.S. in Biology and meet all licensing requirements
• 1-3 years of experience with proven quality and quantity of grossing both small and complicated specimens.
