Location : Pittsfield, MA Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 (Based on License & Experience) 

Shift : Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights, weekends, and overtime)

Requirements : Minimum 2nd Class Fireman’s License (MA) & U.S. Citizenship

About the Role:

• We are seeking a Power Plant Boiler Operator to play a critical role in ensuring reliable steam and electricity generation for our operations.
• This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining power plant equipment, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring optimal performance.

• Night & Weekend Pay Boosts: +15% Night Shift Differential +20% Weekend Differential Double Time Pay on Sundays

What You’ll Do:

✔ Operate and maintain all boilers, turbines, pumps, and plant equipment ✔ Monitor and test feed water systems for proper chemical balance ✔ Perform pipe fitting, steam system repairs, and steam trap rebuilds ✔ Inspect and replace steam coils, valves, tube bundles, and strainers ✔ Ensure boiler interlocks, alarms, and safety systems function properly ✔ Maintain water softener salt levels and overall system efficiency

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2nd Class Fireman’s License (MA) (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Commitment to continuing education & license renewals
• Ability to obtain a 3rd Class Engineer’s License within 2 years
• U.S. Citizenship (Required) – This role supports government contracts requiring security clearance
