Job Title: Project Manager (Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection)

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year

Location: San Antonio, TX

Industry: Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection

Core Function:

To oversee steel structure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Manage multiple projects using formal project planning techniques.
• Set up and manage project schedules and fabrication objectives.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
• Communicate progress toward production, financial, quality, and safety goals.
• Negotiate change orders and maintain customer relationships.
• Identify resource requirements, ensuring efficient capacity planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of industry experience, including 5 years in project management (commercial fabrication experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with the AISC Manual of Steel Construction and construction codes.
• Preferred: PMP certification, experience with FabSuite, Tekla, and other related software.
