Site Systems Public Key Infrastructure Administrator Job Locations US-DC-Washington Requisition ID 2025-154258 Position Category Information Technology Clearance Top Secret/SCI w/Poly Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced systems Site Systems Public Key Infrastructure (PKI ) Administrator to join our national intelligence program that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions. Responsibilities: Administer the Certificate Authorities (CA) and Hardware Security Modules (HSM) for PKI and Key Management . Perform Windows, Server and Active Directory services. Assess and remediate the design and implementation of PKIs to mitigate cybersecurity risk s . Manage applicable Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines and enhance the efficiency of the PKI process. Manage the configuration of PKI systems and test PKI systems before deployment to operations/ production. Create and maintain system documentation. Administer the PKI certificate Lifecyle for multiple solutions. Evaluate upgrades and new products in a lab environment for the enterprise PKI infrastructure. Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Monitor and manage PKI system resources and performance , including patch management and backup; Certificate checks to issue and revoke certificates; auditing of the CA , and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Configure operating systems and supports e nterprise servers . Install and configure database and application software. Perform database backups and system restoration, monitor database performance, and perform troubleshooting. Interact with users and interfacing applications. Provide hardware and software backup recovery. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tun e system performance, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space. Develop, implement and maintain processes, procedures, test cases, test results, issue resolutions, performance analysis, and user guidelines/ instructions documentation. 10% Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as needed basis for customer or corporate requirements. **Position is Contingent on Contract Award** Qualifications Basic Qualifications : Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a counter-intelligence scope (CI) Poly clearances. Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 10 with a master's or 7 with PhD. Current ly active CISSP or Security + Certification. Understanding of PKI architecture. Systems Administration of Windows Server and Operating system, Unix, or Linux and/or database skillset. Performing snapshots, disaster recovery, performance tuning . Installation, hardening, patching . Excellent troubleshooting skills and Tier 1 communication skills . Experience developing and maintaining critical documentation (SIPs, SAGs, SOPs, Getting started guides) . Desired Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearances. Other DoD 8570.01-M IAT I or DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification. Subject Matter Expert in cryptography such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and/or Transport Layer Security (TLS). Security Clearance: This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is required To hold this clearance. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
