Job Description

Description: Engineering college intern to support Engineering and Technology business unit within the Software Engineering group. Tasks will include software development, support of system integration testing, and preparation of engineering documentation. Will work along-side engineering staff to develop solutions for nuclear safety systems and/or precision guided systems. Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualifications : Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree. The candidate must be a US citizen. Desired Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Course work or practical experience with C/C++, Python, and/or Java.
• Course work or practical experience with Hardware Architecture, Computer Architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, electrical schematics, and/or digital design.
• Course work or practical experience debugging/integrating software applications with embedded hardware.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
