  • Serve as the site authority on Quality, driving a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee all Quality personnel, including leads, technicians, and support staff; provide coaching, performance feedback, and leadership.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for Customer Experience, helping to address and resolve customer concerns and complaint issues in a timely and professional manner.

Quality Assurance + Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and legal requirements, including GMPs and internal company standards.
  • Manage internal audits, customer audits, and third-party inspections; partner with cross-functional teams to prepare for and respond to inspections.
  • Oversee site-wide Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.

Operational Quality Management

  • Develop and enforce in-process quality checks and procedures during production runs to ensure consistency and high-quality outputs.
  • Oversee inspection of incoming raw materials and finished goods; approve or reject products based on compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment.

Process Improvement + Innovation

  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to establish, revise, and improve product specifications and quality protocols.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Champion continuous improvement practices and lean manufacturing principles throughout the facility.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Communicate quality expectations and standards clearly across teams.
  • Partner with leadership to address escalated quality concerns and customer complaints.
  • Support external auditor and inspector visits with documentation, reporting, and action planning.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or CPG environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA, ISO standards, etc.).
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving accountability.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with data, metrics, and statistical process control.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for high-quality products and an uncompromising attention to detail.
