Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Logistics Planner for our Warner Robins, GA location. This position is located at Robins AFB, GA and requires being onsite daily as well as working any shift as/when needed. No relocation assistance is available. Position also requires the ability to deploy nationally and internationally for periods of up to 180 days to support CONUS and OCONUS operations when required, to backfill staffing needs, or when USAF customer requirements dictate. Once employed for the role - must be willing and able to do required travel within 72 hours of notification of the travel. Must be able to pass a pre-deployment physical and then once hired, a yearly physical. The person in this position will be responsible for the following: Provide support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment, HAZMAT, Government Furnished Equipment and related materials to be deployed and stocked. Track logistics materials, spares, tooling, and HAZMAT for proper allocation of storage facilities. Precisely plan, manage, and track efficient flow of aircraft parts, support equipment, tooling and HAZMAT from point of origin to point of consumption to meet 100% of customer requirements. Execute inventory management in CORRIDOR computerized database. Specifics of the role: Effectively communicate with Northrop Grumman’s Procurement Manager on status and issues which may affect any element of aircraft Contract Logistics Support (CLS) operations and/or ability to meet any customer requirements. Conduct material requirements planning to develop and maintain inventory levels in support of deployed aircraft missions schedule. Daily receipt of all stock inventory including rotables, consumables, and expendables. Conduct export/import management coordination for the shipment of aircraft parts, materials, and other items necessary for the execution of aircraft maintenance operations at the deployed location. Oversee and conduct daily inventory of Northrop Grumman and government furnished tools. Monitor calibration due dates of Northrop Grumman and government furnished tools for proper disposition and/or calibration. Oversee consumable/HAZMAT inventory. Issue consumables/HAZMAT for aircraft maintenance operations. Dispose of consumables/HAZMAT to HAZMAT yard. Conduct daily inventory of consumables/HAZMAT. Monitor expiration dates of consumables/HAZMAT. Unique Duties of Deployed Logistics Clerk Personnel: Submit Entry/Exit Memorandums, American Goods Return Forms, Customs Clearance Forms for the turn-in and receipt of materials. Responsible for the coordination and oversight for the movement of material from the warehouse to the base front gate and vice versa, including submitting an AF 868 Transportation Form for equipment movement. Coordinate the movement of inbound/outbound materials via Northrop Grumman approved vendors. Report HAZMAT materials to installation HAZMAT representative. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience OR 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Must possess or be able to quickly obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. Current U.S. Passport required. Hands-on experience with computer operations and Microsoft Office software - Outlook, Word, Excel. Able to obtain a corporate credit card. Willing and able to pass a pre-deployment physical and then once hired, a yearly physical. Proficient in SAP for the following tasks: Creating material requirements, Creating material requisitions, Processing GRs, Issue material. Preferred Qualifications: In depth knowledge of United States Air Force Instructions and Technical Orders. Demonstrated success in supporting 24-hour flight operations. In depth knowledge of material management in a depot or production environment.
