We’re seeking a Production Stage Manager for our upcoming production of Hair! About the Show: Hair is a groundbreaking rock musical celebrating freedom, love, and self-expression. As our Stage Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing this vibrant production to life! Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of rehearsals and performances Maintain clear communication between the creative team, cast, and crew Ensure smooth transitions and technical cues during the show Manage schedules, call times, and production documentation Maintain a positive, organized, and professional backstage environment Qualifications: Prior stage management experience in musical theater Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure Familiarity with calling cues, blocking notation, and production logistics Passion for theater and a collaborative spirit Details: Location: Vanguard Theater Company, Montclair, NJ - Less than 5 minutes from NJ Transit Rehearsal Dates: May 19 - June 11 Compensation: $4000 stipend If you’re ready to be part of an electrifying production filled with energy, music, and love, we’d love to hear from you!
