Role: Technical Project Manager

A Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex technical projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, and driving the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. They serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements into actionable plans and fostering effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Technical Project Managers play a crucial role in maintaining project timelines, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards. The Project manager manages the project from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders. They are also responsible for tracking progress and adjusting as needed to keep the project on track. A Project manager is responsible for successfully delivering a project or product. They work with a team of developers, designers, and other professionals to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical delivery of projects, ensuring that all project deliverables are met within agreed upon timelines and budget
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete and accurate
  • Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or issues
  • Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure that they are meeting their obligations
  • Prepare reports on project progress for senior management
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations
  • Analyzing project performance metrics and identify areas for process optimization
  • Facilitate the resolution of technical issues and escalate concerns to appropriate stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project deliverables with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security protocols, and organizational policies
  • Plan, track and proactively manage strategic and customer projects

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from USD 60,000/annum to USD135,000/annum. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”
