TIG Welder

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for welding all products per MOT and/or B/P.

Position Responsibilities
​​​​​​​The following are essential position accountabilities:

• ​​​​​​​Verify raw material.
• Visually inspect detail parts for damage prior to welding.
• Visually inspect all finished welds for compliance to MOT and/or B/P specifications.
• Verify proper weld rods per color code.
• Identify and tag rejectable items prior to submission to Inspection.

Qualifications:

• ​​​​​​​3-5 year fusion welding
• Ability to communicate in the English language.
• Technical knowledge of welding skills and measuring equipment as required to complete each operation.
• Ability to pass the standard welding qualification test: .030 material thickness
• Ability to understand weld symbols.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. minimum.
• Vision---near 20/20---far 20/30.
• Able to see color (able to pass Pseudochromatic plates, Dvorine, Ishihara, Richmond, Farnsworth lantern, Keystone Orthoscope, Titmus vision tester, Titmus II Vision Tester, Titmus 2 Vision Tester.)
