We are seeking a highly organized and proactive person to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will ensure a productive and efficient work environment while supporting our team members. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Must love animals, especially cats. Job experience with animals is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, communication, and administrative tasks.
• Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Organize and coordinate meetings, events, and company functions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.
• Supervise and ensure others are performing their jobs properly
• Manage and schedule volunteers who come to assist us
• Help conduct background checks to clear dog adopters
• Ability to handle animals

Adoption Day duties:

• Help with adoptions and communicate with adopters.
• Manage happenings in the cat room. Ensure volunteers are performing tasks correctly and manage their task lists.
• Jump into tasks on an as-needed basis

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Scheduling – work with the director on setting up times for adopter and/or foster pickups
• Text loops – make sure someone answers incoming medical/food/behavior questions from adopters and fosters
• Keep proper notations of all happenings with animals in RnR internal system

Qualifications

• Experience in an animal handling capacity
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfort jumping in to do whatever is necessary to complete tasks properly
