Job Title: Chief Estimator (Structural Steel)
Salary: $$115,000 - $125,000
Location: North Dallas

Your Responsibilities
✔️ Communicate with Owners, Representatives, Fabricators, Contractors, Suppliers & Consultants
✔️ Coordinate bid preparation & ensure timely submission
✔️ Assist in budgets, subcontracts, purchase orders & project schedules
✔️ Ensure a seamless project handoff to the construction team
✔️ Review specifications, drawings & scope of work
✔️ Estimate indirect costs (management, equipment, tools)
✔️ Review & finalize proposals before submission
✔️ Engage in proposal presentations when needed
✔️ Train & mentor estimating staff
✔️ Maintain strong relationships with operations teams
✔️ Prepare budget pricing, unit price schedules & lump sum pricing
What You Need
✅ 10+ years of steel construction estimating experience
✅ Strong math & communication skills
✅ Experience in industrial & commercial structural/miscellaneous construction
✅ Ability to work quickly & accurately under deadlines
✅ Knowledge of conceptual estimating & design-build projects
✅ Strong leadership & business communication skills
✅ Experience with design models
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
