Job Description

Labor Finders of Austell is looking for an experienced furniture installer. In this role, you will deliver, assemble, and install furniture in residential or commercial settings, ensuring proper functionality and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, addressing questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the installation. 
  • Site Preparation and Cleanup: Preparing the installation site, removing packaging materials, and cleaning up after the installation is complete. 
  • Tools and Equipment: Utilizing hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, drills, and levelers, for efficient and accurate installation. 
  • Following Instructions: Adhering to the manufacturer's instructions and company procedures for furniture installation. 
  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the installation process. 
  • Safety: Maintaining a safe work environment, following safety protocols, and using appropriate safety equipment. 
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. 
  • Quality Control: Inspecting installed furniture for proper functionality and addressing any defects or issues. 
  • Workplace Furniture: Install modular systems furniture, align, level & wipe down. 
  • Case Good Furniture: Install case good furniture, align, level, and wipe down. 
  • Service Work: Provide service work to ensure that the furniture is operating properly. 
  • Domestic Travel: Domestic travel to client sites is required. 
  • Delivery and Unloading: Loading and unloading furniture from delivery trucks, using dollies and other equipment for efficient movement. 
  • Assembly and Installation: Assembling furniture pieces according to instructions, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and secure connections. 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand and follow instructions, and use tools effectively. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the installation process. 
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and address their concerns. 
  • Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure that installations are completed accurately and efficiently. 
  • Experience: Previous experience in furniture delivery and installation is often preferred. 
  • Carpentry or Construction Experience: Experience in carpentry or construction can be helpful. 
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. 
  • Hand and Power Tools: Familiarity with various hand and power tools used in furniture installation. 
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service. 
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. 
  • Scheduling: Ability to manage time and schedule installations effectively. 
  • Loading and Unloading: Experience in loading and unloading furniture from trucks. 
  • Cleaning Experience: Ability to clean up after installations. 
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including furniture and boxes.
