Established in 1972, St. Thomas More Play Group offers an independent, traditional, nonsectarian nursery program for children two through five years of age. Our primary objective is to create a warm, responsive, and supportive atmosphere where children are able to play, learn, and grow in a safe and nurturing space. Our program and facilities provide a rich, dynamic environment, which encourages exploration and independence. A wide variety of activities and materials support the child’s emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development. Individual and group activities spark curiosity and stimulate the children to observe, engage and experiment, become problem solvers, and to acquire basic skills. Our exceptionally qualified staff values the unique individuality of each child. Classrooms are a reflection of the creative energy and depth of learning happening within. We have developed a curriculum rich in language, literacy, and math readiness.
