Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is working with a West Hills-based company seeking a Temporary Contracts Attorney with in-house experience to work within its offices.

Duration: 1 1/2 to 2 months, with the possibility of extension
Start: ASAP | Full-time hours

This Attorney will report to Corporate Counsel, assisting in drafting and reviewing transactional agreements including NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs and other documents. While open to someone with 1-2 years of experience, the ideal person will be comfortable handling these tasks. Additional exposure to corporate governance or corporate employment or IP matters are a plus, though not required.

Top Requirements:

1. 1-2+ years of experience with corporate contract drafting - experience in the electronic rental space or a similar field is highly preferred

2. Transactional agreement experience in the government sector is a plus

3. Additional exposure to corporate governance, intellectual property, or employment law is a bonus - open to strong juniors with a proactive, go-getter attitude

4. Good standing with California bar

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 1.5 - 2 months anticipated but may be extended

• Hours: Full-time (8 hours/day); flexible start time after first week

• Location: must be able to commute to West Hills; possibility of hybrid set up toward end of assignment
  

Desired Skills and Experience

- Barred and in good standing in state of California
- 2+ years of experience handling contract drafting and execution in-house, including NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs, etc.)
- experience handling employment policies or corporate governance in an in-house environment a plus
- ability to work on site in West Hills
