$62.50 to $72.50

Job Description
The primary function of the Web Development Manager is to lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance along with coaching and mentorship; Collaborate cross departmentally to plan, design, develop, test and maintain projects and technologies; ensure consistency with brand and code standards. Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery including scope and deadlines. Administer peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. The Web Developer Manager ensures that departmental standards and principles are communicated throughout the team and are actively enforced and is the go-to person when team and cross-department members need assistance.


Required Skills

• 7 years' experience Web Development *in e-commerce
• 4 years as a Manager/Leader in Web development
• AWS experience
• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Framework, specifically: Hibernate, JDBC, JPA in the context of eCom
• Tomcat and Docker Kubernetes experience
• Proficiency in git, project management using JIRA or equivalent, and CI/CD tool equivalent of Jenkins.
• HTML/HTML5, React, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSS. (LESS)/Bootstrap/TailwindCSS
• Understanding of usability, accessibility, and privacy compliance.
• Knowledge of accessibility, performance, and other software/website quality auditing tools.
• Ability to QA own work output across multiple browsers/devices and read other team's code, suggesting practical changes.
• Ability to pair program / pair troubleshoot with team members across teams/tech stack to productively resolve implementation requirements and handle emergencies.
• Desire to create great, performant software that serves customers world-class eCommerce experiences, with a consistent desire for self and team improvement.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
